Natalie is the owner of Physio-logical. She qualified in 2003 at Brunel University, London and worked in the health service in Basingstoke Hospital for many years treating a wide range of orthopaedic and musculoskeletal conditions. She has also worked with local rugby clubs, hockey and football players. She was a physiotherapist at the London 2012 Olympics.
She has corporate experience working within Vodafone HQ and is also trained in Manipulation and Acupuncture for pain relief. Her specialist area’s of expertise are sports rehabilitation and treating musculoskeletal conditions such as neck and back pain, general muscle strains and sporting injuries.
She prides herself in helping people to achieve high levels of fitness needed for their sporting and working lives.
Natalie enjoys scuba diving, running, netball, cycling and spending time with her family in her spare time..
Russell Cruz – BSc Physical Therapy. HCPC. CSP. (Basingtoke Clinic)
Russell graduated from the Virgen Milagrosa University, Philippines in 1995 with a BSc Physical Therapy and passed the Licensure exams to practice on the same year. He has worked at various Physiatrist led Private Physiotherapy clinics as well as a lecturer in Electrotherapy and treatment modalities in a College for Physical Therapy. He has also travelled around the world on board “The World”, working as a Private Physiotherapist to the Godmother of the Ship!
He moved to UK in 2001 and has worked for a well-known private hospital in Basingstoke for 15 years before venturing to a private practice.
He was also briefly involved with Basingstoke Rugby club and the Basingstoke Bison’s Ice Hockey team as a Physiotherapist.
He has developed a keen interest in Shoulder and Lower limb conditions as well as Chronic and Acute Spinal pain and has established excellent working relations with some of the best Orthopaedic and Pain Management Consultants in and around Basingstoke.
Outside of work, Russell enjoys playing the guitar and does accompaniment for the Catholic Church choir group and spending time with family.
Paul Killen MSc(Manip).MA.BSc(Hons).MMACP (Basingtoke Clinic)
Paul graduated from The University of Ulster in 1994 with a BSc(Hons) in Physiotherapy. He pursued his interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and sports injuries and was awarded an MSc in Manipulative Physiotherapy from The University of Brighton in 2001. This involved clinical placements and examination by some of the leading musculoskeletal clinicians in the UK.
He is a member of the Musculoskeletal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MACP) which promotes and develops excellence in musculoskeletal physiotherapy. In Paul’s 21 years of experience in treating pain and sporting injuries, he has developed a special interest in neck, shoulder and arm pain. In addition to his full time clinical work he spent the last 4 years researching treatments for ‘Frozen Shoulder’.
He is also trained in western medical acupuncture. Over the last 15 years he has worked in a renowned local private hospital and has developed very close links with Consultants and other Specialists should a patient require onward referral.
Paul is an ex Irish and Northern Irish basketball international who has competed in the World Student Games and holds a Commonwealth Championships bronze medal. He understands the plight of the injured sportsperson very well. Nowadays he has 2 very young daughters and lists his sports as; playing on swings, slides, roundabouts and in sandpits. He considers himself ‘elite’ in all four disciplines!
Kate Lawton BSc (Hons) LSSM (Dip) MISRM (Havant Clinic)
Kate qualified in Sports and Remedial Massage in 2009, after studying at the London School of Sports Massage. She is a member of the Institute of Sports and Remedial Massage. She originally studied Sports and Exercise Science at The University of Exeter achieving a BSc Honours degree in 2007. After spending some time travelling she decided to pursue a career in sports massage.
Kate’s treatments include deep tissue, sports and remedial massage, and pre and post event massage. Using a variety of techniques including soft tissue release and muscle energy technique the treatments can aid recovery, help ease muscular aches, alleviate headaches, promote healing, improve performance and training to help you achieve your goals.
Kate treats a variety of people, young, old, sporty and non sporty individuals. Kate is a friendly and enthusiastic person who enjoys her work and the new challenges everyday brings.
Reception / Administration
Our reception staff are all friendly and efficient. They are always willing to lend a sympathetic ear to patients calling the clinic for an appointment or advice. They also deal with all the administration which is a necessary part of a busy physiotherapy clinic. Please do not hesitate to phone them with any queries or to make an appointment.
Alaina has many years experience in administration and customer service roles. She likes listening to music, yoga and reading. She enjoys spending her free time with her family and friends and going for walks with her son.
